 One of my favorite thing to photograph is classic cars, another is airplanes. Getting opportunities to photograph airplanes though is many times more difficult than catching a classic Chevy or Ford though!

Fortunately there is a place in the town where my parents live called the "Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum". So occasionally when I am visiting family in Titusville Florida I get a chance to to grab some early morning shots. I say early morning due to the fact that the hangers the planes are housed in are not air conditioned, so with the Florida heat it is best to plan your trip during the cooler hours or months.

 For some reason right after I started taking a serious interest in photography I also became interested in reenactments. I am a former U.S. Army SSG who served in the 1st Cavalry and 2nd Infantry Divisions for 9 years. I was in SP Vulcan Air Defense units which is combat arms and had pretty much avoided anything to do with the military in general since my discharge in 1992. So I think my interest in reenactments came solely from the opportunity to get some cool hdr portraits.
